Stay awhile and enjoy our walking trails
The accommodation is rustic, being built from recycled and bush materials (featured in Owner Builder magazine). It consists of a comfortable ensuited slab hut with a queen size double bed.
The property lends itself to a unique escape from city life or an introduction to the Australian bush and wildlife for overseas visitors. The location is one hour north on the m1 and 20 min from the freeway turnoff to Cessnock and the vineyards. It is an ideal location for anyone visiting the Hunter Valley Vineyards (25 min.), Newcastle beaches (45min.), Wollombi Aboriginal sites (45min) or Port Stevens (1hr).
There are a range of options for eating, entertaining and relaxing both inside and out, including gas BBQs and wood fires.
There are walking tracks to suit all levels of fitness but there is TV and an extensive library for those rainy days.
Because of the resident wildlife (and some free range chooks and alpacas) please no pets. No problem with people smoking outdoors.
